This has been my go-to cheesecake recipe for the last decade (unless I am using my aunt Barbara's no-bake recipe when I' in a hurry). Its so easy, quick and the ingredients are minimal. No complications. Perfect for anybody who just wants that classic cheesecake taste, without all the fuss.
Simple Classic
Cheesecake
Ingredients:
2 packages
(8-oz. each) cream cheese
2/3 cup
sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1 prepared graham
cracker pie crust
Directions:
1.
Preheat Oven to 350.
2.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese
and the sugar with an electric beater on low speed until well blended.
3.
Add eggs and vanilla, blend until smooth.
4.
Pour mixture into prepared graham cracker crust,
carefully scraping out any leftovers.
5.
Place mixture-filled pie crust on a baking sheet
for stability, and bake in the oven at 350 for 22 to 25 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool. Serve in wedge slices.
TIP: After the cheesecake has cooled, you can also
top it with canned fruit pie filling, or fresh fruit.
